The Rotary Club of Charlestown was chartered on April 28th 1966 and in that time has been active in all facets of Rotary... grass root community projects all the way through to district and even international initiatives.
Our Community Charlestown and it's surrounding areas is a lively, go forward community located at the top of Lake Macquarie, which is 140 km North of Sydney and 10 km South of Newcastle. The Charlestown Rotary Club is a direct reflection of it's community and is notably one of the premier clubs in the Lake Macquarie municipality and for that matter the Rotary District 9660 The Club Meets on 2nd 4th Tuesdays of the Month at the Charlestown Bowling Club. Our Current Activities
PCYC OZ Harvest Garden Supporting a gardening project in the courtyard out the back of the training room. OZ Harvest will work with kids who are all deemed at risk to incorporate growing some edibles herbs, vegies, salads into our hospitality course which will be running this year at the PCYC.
