ROTARY INTERNATIONAL

Rotary boasts in excess of 1.2 million members in 34,216 clubs in 538 Districts in 207 countries. In Australia there are over 34,000 members in almost 1200 clubs.

Rotary is a grass roots Organisation with most of its service efforts being carried out in local communities. The District and International structure is designed to provide direction and support to the Clubs in their efforts providing service to their communities and abroad, encouraging high ethical standards in all their undertakings and most importantly in building peace and goodwill in the world.

Rotary, internationally, is a prestigious organisation able to achieve great outcomes. It’s success is largely due to to its members and their partners who are dedicated to the ideal of Service Above Self. The Rotarian, from your local club, is the one who wants to make a
difference, who wants to lead the way, who wants to share and promote the Rotary ideals... Rotary an active member in our global community

Some of the most critical issues in the world today are being tackled under the guidance of Rotary International. Examples are poverty and hunger, the environment, health and education, violence and most importantly children at risk.

As Rotarian’s we’re all proud of the achievements of our Clubs and of Rotary International. We maintain the momentum of both of these levels so our organisation can build a better, more sustainable and peaceful future.

Our Members

The membership base is strong and the people in the club have a proven track record of getting in and getting the job done  and also having a good time.
In the clubs 50 odd years of history we've had two District Governors and an another who we were fortunate enough to have join from another club.

At a district level we have many members who are in executives positions, advisory councils, district committee chairs and trust (check out our clubs District Leaders).

We encourage you to find out more about our club and what we get up to
